Renton Shooting: One Injured, Police Search for Two Suspects on NE 12th Street

Officers and King County’s Guardian One helicopter are searching for two suspects following a shooting reported Tuesday afternoon in the 4400 block of Northeast 12th Street.

According to police, officers were dispatched to the scene just before 5 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire in the area. When officers arrived, they located an adult male suffering from gunshot-related injuries. Authorities said the victim’s injuries are considered non-life-threatening. He was provided medical aid at the scene and later transported for further treatment.

In response to the shooting, police established a perimeter and launched a search for two suspects believed to be involved. King County’s Guardian One helicopter was deployed to assist officers on the ground as they canvassed the neighborhood. Residents were advised to remain alert as the search continued.

Officials warned the public to expect a significant police presence in the area while the investigation remains active. No suspect descriptions have been released at this time, and authorities have not provided details regarding the circumstances that led to the shooting.
